Ginger Snaps

3/4 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup molasses
2 cups flour
1 Tbs. ground ginger
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
Cream together butter and sugar. Add egg and molasses and mix well. Add the dry ingredients and mix well. Roll into 1 inch balls and roll the balls in sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 350 for 10 minutes.

Hey Ladies! This is Lauren (Smith). I've known you guys had this website, and would check it every once in a while, but it wasn't until last night that I went crazy looking at it--I guess I was just lazy before about actually trying the recipes. But I seriously stayed up until 2:30 last night--and then got up early this morning & just finished copying down pretty much every recipe you guys have on here! They all look so good & it's nice because I trust your guys' opinion--the pics have been making my mouth water. I totally need to get cooking. Thanks for all the great ideas. They all sound wonderful. Keep them coming!
