Carrots and Leeks
6 carrots (peeled and chopped at an angle)
3 leeks (chopped including the white part. Or if you can’t find leeks white onion works too
Mix and melt together…
2 T water
1 T brown sugar
½ cube butter
1 tsp salt
Put carrots and leeks in saucepan and drizzle mix over. Cover carrots in pan with tin foil AND pan lid. Cook on medium for 25 minutes. (be careful with the time. one time my carrots burned on the bottom so make sure the stove is not too hot... medium or less)
